Being strangled from someone sitting on you.

Strangled in Mount Position

Corrected structural escape mechanics: Hand on abdomen → push to one side as you bridge → knee drives up → roll. This is coordinated movement, not separate steps.

🎥 Technique Demonstration

Watch closely: the defender does NOT push straight up. One hand posts on the attacker’s abdomen, pressure drives to one side, hips bridge at the same time, and the knee rises to assist the roll.

📘 Correct Mechanical Breakdown

Step 1 – Air & Control

  • Chin down to protect throat.
  • Control one choking arm if possible.
  • Keep elbows tight to prevent isolation.

Step 2 – Hand Placement on Abdomen

  • Place one hand firmly on the attacker’s lower abdomen/hip line.
  • This is NOT a push straight upward.
  • It is a directional push.
Push diagonally toward ONE side — the same side you intend to roll.

Step 3 – Bridge + Push + Knee Drive (Simultaneous)

  • As the hand pushes to one side, drive hips upward explosively.
  • At the SAME TIME, bring your knee up on that side.
  • The knee rising helps elevate and destabilise their base.
  • Your head turns toward the direction of the roll.

This is one coordinated movement: Push → Bridge → Knee Rise → Roll.

Step 4 – Complete the Roll

  • Continue turning over your shoulder.
  • Do not pause halfway.
  • Establish posture immediately once on top.
  • Create space and stand.

⚠️ Critical Technical Points

  • Do NOT push straight up.
  • Push must be angled.
  • Knee movement is active, not passive.
  • Bridge is explosive, not slow.
  • All movements happen together.

⚠️ Training Safety

Neck compression can cause unconsciousness rapidly. Train slowly, release immediately on tap, and never apply real choke pressure during instruction.
